The winners and runner americaof the tenth anniversary of the country wide Geographic Traveller (UK)'s images competitors have been announced.

From royal-esque snap shots to breathtaking landscapes, this 12 months's entrants have been in for a tricky competitors. 

Photographers of all stages from across the uk and ireland have been able to enter the competition, which seeks to highlight the best in trip photography.

ahead of this yr's competition, which became sponsered via Nikon, Pat Riddell, editor of national Geographic Traveller (UK), noted: 'last year, our readers entered in their thousands.

'Our panel of expert judges became impressed with the richness of compositions, the range of expertise used — from DSLR cameras to drones and cellphones — and the breadth of destinations represented.
