I labored alongside mayoral candidate Tim Waters throughout my tenure as government director of Longmont neighborhood Justice Partnership (LCJP), a Longmont-primarily based nonprofit, from 2015-2021. As I navigated challenges that would negatively have an impact on LCJP's capabilities to the Longmont group, I reached out to Tim for aid and counsel.

Tim gained my have confidence via his excellent capability to listen to multiple views and generate solutions that had been fair and together really useful. He went beyond readily listening to become a respectful and compassionate thought partner. within the remaining 2 years, when most communities nationwide faced an unprecedented degree of adversity and grappled with complex questions about justice and equity, Tim chose to shed easy on these themes in the neighborhood.
