As St Mary's faculty A stage paintings and images students persevered their reports during lockdown, they mirrored on Mars exploration projects coming to fruition in February 2021, with the success of both the NASA Perseverance and the United Arab Emirates space agency Hope missions.
These far away adventures in hope and perseverance inspired students to undertake their very own photo voltaic system exploration. Experimenting with picture modifying, snap shots and manipulation software, students used lockdown studies to strengthen new creative capabilities.
searching for ideas and inspiration from the work of astrophotographers equivalent to Marcel Drechsler, college students researched strategies deployed in this most difficult of photographic genres. They developed a particular interest in 'astrobin-ladies Astrophotographers' a digital platform for female fanatics to congregate and share their passion for this artwork-science form.
Please enjoy the impressive, fictional and fantastical nebula and galaxies that the college students have created ... whole photo voltaic programs await discovery!
